Tai Cheong Bakery is a popular brand name in Hong Kong and almost every tourist to Hong Kong will want to visit Tai Cheong to have a taste of their famous egg tarts at Central.
Singaporeans are blessed to have Tai Cheong Bakery opening up branches at both Ngee Ann City and Holland Village so that we no longer have to travel to Hong Kong just to satisfy our cravings.
The glorious egg tarts cost S$1.90 per piece and it is definitely one of the best or if not the best egg tarts in Singapore.
Tai Cheong @ Holland Village is also a cafe (Cha Chan Teng), serving some local Hong Kong delights.
Scrambled Eggs with Cheese + Toast + Chicken Chop. Definitely looks nice on the photo but does it really taste as good. Overall, it tasted good with the accompanying mushroom sauce. The only thing which failed the whole dish was the chicken chop. It lacks flavour and doesn’t taste fresh.
This is almost the same as the above, just that the toast have been replaced by Polo Bun.
I will still be back to Tai Cheong, always for the egg tarts!
